Heritage E.F.C. is a growing Christian church located in Castle Rock, Colorado, just south of Denver and a short drive from Colorado Springs. Originally planted as Castle Chapel in 1993, we became Heritage in 1999 when Castle Chapel merged with Cornerstone Bible Church.
Heritage is an Evangelical Free Church of America congregation and our doctrinal statement reflects this affiliation. If you would like some more information about the E.F.C.A., click here and you will be taken to the website of the national office.
Heritage is committed to being both Biblically-grounded and culturally relevant. As such, we typically attract a wide variety of attenders. On a typical Sunday, you can expect to see people wearing suit and tie and people wearing shorts and tee-shirts. Our music blends the occassional hymn with cutting-edge contemporary worship led primarily by acoustic guitar. If you would like to hear some samples of our music, click here.
Heritage is a church that takes Biblical teaching seriously. Our senior pastor, Brent Kinman and our associate pastor, Craig Smith, are both published authors and well-respected in the world of evangelical scholarship. Academic credentials are only a piece of the package, however and our staff and leadership are deeply committed to touching both minds and hearts.
